Review by hotel critic
The spa bath was a delightful touch, especially after a long day exploring the rich historical sites this beautiful island offers. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, featuring ample air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, ensuring we had everything we needed to relax. Just a stone's throw from the ferry port and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and attractions, commuting around the city was a breeze. This saved both time and money on transportation, making it a financially savvy choice for travelers wanting to immerse themselves in Malta's splendid culture. While the lobby may appear somewhat modest, the attentive and friendly staff made our experience truly welcoming, often engaging in conversations that provided delightful practice for my Italian. Although we had some minor issues with room cleanliness after using the hot tub, the daily housekeeping service was generally satisfactory. If you're planning a visit, Angioino strikes a reasonable balance between luxury and value that is hard to beat, particularly for those eager to explore Malta's historical tapestry without breaking the bank.
